Dawn

When I was in elementary school I began organizing and hosting singing/acting shows for the neighborhood. It’s no surprise to me that I ended up in the entertainment industry with music. Never being a morning person before doesn’t stop me from loving this new adventure as the Classic Hits Morning Show Host.

This position allows me to use music to magically transport listeners back to a specific memory, place, or time. Can you say Jack of All Traits…I also hold the roles of Promotional Director along with Traffic & Billing while dabbling in Sales.

My career began in television working for TV54 out of Bucyrus when I graduated from the Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in 1990. My first venture into radio was working for WBCO/WQEL Radio as their News Director before returning to school to become a court reporter and taking a break from radio to pursue other avenues.

I am so proud to say my best accomplishments are my two amazing daughters, Vern, who is attending a University in Chicago studying archaeology while dabbling in radio; and Faith, who is a Senior in high school.

When I’m not at the radio station you can find me working for the MJ Brown Construction Company as their Social-Media Director and putting in some hours for ECS North.

And if I have spare time I always enjoy a great book, being outdoors, dancing, and having a blast with friends… not to mention a mean game of dominoes or a spur of the moment adventure.
