Last month, singer Beyonce Knowles gave birth to twins. The announcement of the arrival of her newborns was very lowkey, in comparison to the delivery of first child, Blue Ivy Carter, back in 2013. Blue's name was revealed shortly after she was born, with Beyonce and husband, rapper Jay-Z, giving explanation to her middle name being related to the Roman numeral for the number 4; a number the two of them favor. But with these twins being born last month, the world never knew the names given to the Carter twins. We all waited, patiently for another Instagram post that would 'break the Internet', like her highly publicized Instagram post from earlier this year, announcing the forthcoming of the twins, but were left with nothing.

Well, the time has come, and the leader of the Beyhive herself announced, in typical Beyonce fashion in an Instagram post, the names and gender of her babies. The twins are a boy, and a girl, with the boy named Sir Carter, and the girl named Rumi Carter. Little Blue is a big sister now. The twins' names are said to have some significance in Beyonce's side of the family, but no official report of that for right now. 

Congratulations Carter family! We're sure this isn't the last time we're going to hear the names Sir and Rumi, being the newest additions to music's first family!
