On Monday, the OHSAA voted in favor of student athletes being allowed to sign NIL deals to use their name, image, and likeness. The press release stated that 447 OHSAA members voted in favor, while 121 schools voted against it and 247 schools abstained. Ohio will now become the fourth state to allow NIL deals at the high school level. The new bylaw will take effect immediately.
