The suspect who was fatally shot by Findlay Police was Robert Norton. At this time, his age and further details have not been released. 

Norton was shot and later died at the hospital when officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Cherry Lane at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday. On arrival, officers approached the door of the home to find Norton pointing a firearm at them. Several shots were then fired, hitting Norton. No officers were injured.

The Ohio BCI continues to investigate the shooting. While body cam footage will be released Friday, according to police.
