Arrests are made in Dick's Sporting Goods Robbery

The Findlay Police Department made 4 arrests Wednesday involving two juveniles and 2 adults relating to a robbery at a Dick’s Sporting Goods on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay.

 

In a release by the FPD, the four suspects arrived at the store around 6:00 p.m. stole nearly $6,500 in product, and fled the scene in a black Jeep with a temporary registration. One suspect threatened to shoot an employee who tried to take their picture. Police found the vehicle on County Road 99 going towards I-75 and recovered all the stolen product.

 

The two juveniles remain nameless by the police, but the two adults are 22-year-old Shanae R. Grier, of Toledo, and 19-year-old Antionna F. Boone, of Sylvania. Both Grier and Boone are at the Hancock County Justice Center. While the two juveniles are at the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center. 

 

The charges filed are falsification, robbery, complicity to robbery, and possession of criminal tools. Juvenile prosecutors will decide whether to try the juveniles as adults.
