The Ohio State High Way Patrol are investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred at 11:06 p.m. on August 13, 2024 at the intersection of Mason Road and State Route 269.

29-year-old Micah Plemens, of Tiffin, was driving the motorcycle with 30-year-old Trinity Robinson, of Republic, Ohio. While traveling westbound on Mason Road east of SR 269 Plemens lost control of the motorcycle when reaching the intersection and overturned the bike, striking a barbed wire fence. Both Plemens and Robinson launched off of the bike while not wearing helmets. Life Flight took them to St. Vincent Medical Center.

It is unknown if alcohol or drugs caused the accident, and if there were any charges filed.
