On Sunday, Arcadia will hold their fireworks in honor of Independence Day, but also in remembrance of fire chief and member of the Washington Township Fire Department for 45 years, Jim Breyman.
Breyman and his son, Ryan, would go to different states to buy various fireworks and hold their own 4th of July party. In December, Jim passed away, and the community wanted to come together and hold a similar event to honor his legacy and love of fireworks.
The event will be at the Arcadia Community Park, 301 W. Brown Rd., starting at 4 p.m. and will go until 10 p.m. Ryan will handle the fireworks show along with his colleagues of the Washington Township Fire Department.
