Woman Connected to Overdose Death is Sentenced

29-year-old Alicia L. Frankforther, of Findlay, was sentenced in the Hancock County Common Pleas Court this week to 5 to 7 and a half years in prison.

 

She plead guilty in August for involuntary manslaughter in the death of 31-year-old Cody R. Schoonover of Benton Ridge. Frankforther supplied Schoonover fentanyl on March 12, 2022, he then died that day. The offense for involuntary manslaughter was a first-degree felony.

 

There were additional charges to her sentencing with two fourth degree felony counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. The sentencing will be for one year in prison with each count to run consecutively, and then the sentence for involuntary manslaughter will begin. Frankforther could serve 9 and a half years in prison.
