A news release from the Wood County Sheriff's office says that 80-year-old Sally Doren was pronounced dead at the Wood County Hospital after her car collided with a tow truck at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Huffman Road. 

Doren was traveling north on Huffman while the truck was going west on U.S. Route 6. Once she striked the truck, the car went of the southside of the roadway and Doren was ejected from the vehicle. The truck driver was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
