The Seneca Parks board and staff members visited three projects at Meadowbrook Park that recieved some fudning from the Community Grants Program.
One of the projects involved a paved path that connects the park to Hopewell-Loudon School. The $67,000 trail was paid for with %15 school funds and 85% by three grants.
The second project involved an update to a swing set that was worth $8,827. The swings are "expressions" swings where the parent or whoever can swing with the child and see the expression on their face.
The last location was a tree memorial that opened recently and used $9,000 in Seneca Parks grant funds. This allows people to memorial trees and plant them at the park and are able to look up their location.
