OKLAHOMA RELIEF DRIVE

From 9:00AM to 7:00PM

The Blanchard Ave. PCG at 1701 Blanchard Ave., Findlay, once again has aquired a 53 foot semi-trailer to fill with donations to take to the Oklahoma Emergency Receiving Center. We will start receiving donations on May 28th. On June 14th the trailer is scheduled to be taken to Oklahoma. You may drop off items at the Blanchard Ave. PCG. You can also make charitable contributions online at www.bapcg.com also a list is provided of the items that are needed. Donation Receiving Hours are: Mon to Fri 9:00-7:00pm, Sat 10am-noon and Sunday 10:30am. For more information call 419-422-0037.

HPD Peter Rabbit Tea, Findlay

From 9:30AM to 5:00PM

Peter Rabbit Tea - 13th annual Peter Rabbit Tea features the story of Peter Rabbit, as read by Beatrix Potter, followed by tea in the historic McKinnis House, Litezenberg Memorial Woods, Gate House, Findlay. Afterwards meet some of the characters. Children are required to be ages 4-6, with an adult companion. One adult required for every two children. Registration is $2 per person by Thursday May 30th at the Hancock Park District office. Story will be read at 11am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4 pm on Monday and Tuesday, June 3rd and 4th.

Bleed for the Band!

From 1:00PM to 7:00PM

The Red Cross and Hardin Northern Band are sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, June 6, 1:00-7:00 pm in the Hardin Northern Cafeteria. Everyone who donates blood at this event will receive a Buy One Get One Free ticket to the Columbus Zoo and will also be entered in a drawing for Zoombezi Bay tickets. Contact Brian Reeves at 419-889-4652 to schedule a time to donate blood. Please come out on the 6th to save lives and support Hardin Northern Band!

HPD Garden Series: Fairy Houses and Gardens

From 7:00PM to 8:00PM

Hancock Park District presents Garden Series: Fairy Houses and Gardens 7 pm at Litzenberg Memorial Woods, Activity Barn - Join Michelle Ruelle as she introduces the HPD to the New England practice of designing and constructing fairy houses and gardens for your home and Garden. Guests will receive informational handouts. No fee, but register by Friday, May 31st at the HPD office by calling 419-425-7275.
