Well let's see... I'm from a big family. I'm the second oldest of 6 kids and I have 11 aunts/uncles and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I graduated in 2006 from Upper Arlington High School in Columbus and graduated in 2011 from THE Ohio State University. If you're wondering why I spent 5 years in college, it's because for some reason I thought it was a good idea to get two degrees, one in mathematics and one in journalism (no, I don't want to write articles on math lol).

I started off in media writing for Ohio State's student paper and calling basketball games for the student radio group. My first internship was through OSU's Athletic Dept. where I was the voice of the OSU Women's basketball team for the 2010-2011 season, then I got to intern at WBNS-FM 97.1 The Fan in Columbus where I gained some invaluable experience and realized that radio was what I wanted to do for a career.

I'm a HUGE sports fan/nerd (Buckeyes, Bengals, Reds and Blue Jackets), movie buff (if you didn't already guess from my daily movie quote game) and music fan (AC/DC, Fall Out Boy and Goo Goo Dolls to name a few).

Moved up to Findlay from Columbus to start working at WBVI/WFOB in August and still getting used to things, but I love it here and I thank my lucky stars for the opportunity to do what I love with such a great company in such an awesome city!

Is it Spring yet?

It's official, I'm done with the cold weather and the teasing of the warm weather, bring me Spring!

You may read this and be thinking, "Ok, why is this worth posting?" It's because this is a rare statement coming from me...

I've been on the record for a long time saying that Winter is my favorite season, and trust me, I'm not backing off of that anytime soon. I'm the kind of guy that would rather be 15 degrees too cold than one degree too warm. At least when it's cold out, you can put more layers on, use hand warmers, eat tons of soup or whatever you choose to remedy the cold. When it's hot out there's a limit to the layers you can take off, that is if you care about the whole social norms/public perception thing. Plus I've never heard of the person who perspires too much when it's cold out.

Being part nerd, it's fitting that I have allergies and I know my fellow Claritin/Zyrtec/Benadryl abusers out there will side with me when I say that winter is way easier on the sinuses.

But I digress...

Christmas was great, enjoyed my birthday (the actual celebration, not the fact that I'm 25 necessarily) and loved the snow too... but I'm now jonesing for some sun, grilling out, driving with the windows down and a valid excuse to wear sunglasses.

... Now I just gotta work on the pants-only policy at work.
