From 10:30AM to 2:00PM

The 10th Annual Harvest of Hope (wwwharvestofhopeonline.com) will be held at Meadowbrook Ballroom, 5430 West Tiffin St., Bascom. This event raises money for F.A.C.T. (Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment) in Seneca County (wwwfactsenecacounty.org) All you can eat Hobo Stew, Chicken Noodle Soup, sandwiches, sides and dessert luncheon is served starting at 11:30AM. A live auction (at 12:30pm) and silent auction, prayer chain, bake sale, and 50/50 drawing are some featured events. Children are able to enjoy the clowns and face painting.

The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
