UNITED ENDOWMENT UPDATE, FINDLAY

FINDLAY, Oh – United Way of Hancock County and Strategic Investment Advisors, are presenting a 2014 United Way Endowment Update on Thurs., Oct. 2. The event is free and open to attorneys, certified public accountants, bankers, financial advisors and anyone else interested in the topic. The event will be held at the Findlay Country Club, 1500 Country Club Dr. in Findlay. The event will be from 7:30 – 9 a.m. and will include breakfast. The event will be hosted by Warren Kahn. After serving as a trust administrator for more than four decades, Kahn has recently retired from Fifth Third Bank. As Vice President/Trust Officer, he was responsible for advising private banking clients on estate planning, retirement planning and planned giving. His undergraduate degree was received from Bowling Green State University and he holds a Master of Science degree from the College for Financial Planning. He was also awarded a diploma from the ABA National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Warren has served on the United Way board since 2009. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
