NATURE JOURNALING WORKSHOP, FINDLAY

Nature Journaling Workshop Join local artist and volunteer, Sharon Hammer Baker, for Nature Journaling Workshop on Wednesday, May 21 from 7-8:30pm to bring out your inner-artist. The workshop will explore nature journaling techniques including observation skills, sketching, painting and writing. Nature’s variety provided by our ever changing seasons will offer an enriching experience and opportunity to expand your horizons. For teens and adults of all skill levels, participants should bring a sketch book and drawing supplies. This workshop qualifies for state certified volunteer naturalist advanced training credit. No registration or fee is required. For further information contact the park district office at 419-425-PARK/7275. The Oakwoods Nature Preserve, “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center is located at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, off West Sandusky Street off CR 144, west of Findlay.
