The Stinky Cheese Man, Ritz Theatre, Tiffin

From 10:00AM to 11:00AM

For grades K-3, Authors Sciezka and Lane have taken many of the famed fairy tale characters (Jack in the Beanstock, The Little Red Hen, Cinderella, and the Princess and the Pea, among others) and turned them inside out in an outragiously irreverent and isatiably silly rendation. Over the course of 45 minutes the actors play multiple parts in spectactular costuming bringing these stories to life. Also there's that annoying Stinky Cheese Man! By selecting award winning materials from popular children's literature and encouraging classes to read the work before seeing the play, the Chicago-based Griffin Theatre Company seeks to remind teachers and their students that "imagination is not an escape from reality; it is a creator of possibility." www.ritztheatre.org
