The Blanchard Ave. PCG at 1701 Blanchard Ave., Findlay, once again has aquired a 53 foot semi-trailer to fill with donations to take to the Oklahoma Emergency Receiving Center. We will start receiving donations on May 28th. On June 14th the trailer is scheduled to be taken to Oklahoma. You may drop off items at the Blanchard Ave. PCG. The Annual Wood County Heritage Days offers free farm fun for families. The Power of Yesteryear Club Tractor Show takes center stage with historic demonstrations, farm animals, live music, and kids' activities. Tractor parade at 12:30pm, free kiddie pedal pull 2pm (registration 1 pm), live music, working train display, live animals, Society BBQ fundraiser with Harlan's and home on Sunday only from 11am-12:30pm, Spirit of Wood County Awards Sunday from 2-4pm. Evening Canoe Float at Riverside Park, Zonta Landing 7-9pm Get the summer started off right with a relaxing evening canoe float. Program Assistant, Chris Allen, will give basic canoe instructions before going out. Families welcome, with at least one adult per canoe. Register with $10 per canoe by Thursday, June 6th at the Hancock Park District Office.
